All-Japan Pro Wrestling News – New Triple Crown Champion, Injuries to Multiple Talents, Updated Korakuen Card, and More

Quite a bit of All-Japan news today via Battle News:

–  According to a report from PWF Chairman Dory Funk Jr., Joe Doering successfully defended the Triple Crown this past Saturday in his native Canada against Rhino, Victory #2 for Doering. He will return to All-Japan tomorrow.

–  The 10/22 & 10/25 cards have been/will be changed due to Hideki Suzuki pulling out of the cards due to unspecified circumstances. Does not appear to be injury-related. On Wednesday he will be replaced by Shigehiro Irie. Saturday is TBA. Hiroshi Fukuda is also off Wednesday. Dislocated scapula. Out indefinitely. This likely will also delay his 6-month transfer from DDT/Union Pro.

Here is the latest Wednesday card (Korakuen):

Jr. Tag Battle Of Glory Tiebreaker Match: Atsushi Aoki & Hikaru Sato vs. Keisuke Ishii & Takao Soma

Jr. Tag Battle Of Glory Finals: Ultimo Dragon & Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs. Aoki/Sato-Ishii/Soma winners
