Listen as the gang talks about giving themselves nicknames (however bad they may be), Finn Balor being in How to Train Your Dragon, the possibility of a women’s match ever headlining Raw, Attitude Era comparisons for Blake & Murphy and Enzo & Big Cass, and rather than Hunter’s hatred for Randy Orton….we get Teague’s hatred for Emma.

Join Hunter Roberts, Teague Quillen and Mara Dixon in the PREMIERE episode of “2 Guys, A Girl, and A Wrestling Podcast.” In their debut, the trio discuss and dissect the one night of the year where the WWE throws the rulebook out the window
(except for really any other night that there’s a gimmick match {that you can vote for EXCLUSIVELY on the WWE App for iPhone and Android phones})
.
Listen as the gang gives some background on how they originally began watching wrestling, including Teague’s story involving Jake The Snake, Macho Man and a King Cobra. Then, they talk about the events that transpired at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL (and more importantly, some of the events that they believe transpired OUTSIDE of the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL during the Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper Chicago Street Fight). They also talk about the problem with NXT Women as opposed to WWE Divas, John Cena’s US Championship run, tank jousting, Roman Reigns’s beautiful eyes, Sheamus’s transparent arse and why Hunter hates Randy Orton.

Well, tonight is WWE’s annual Survivor Series PPV event. So my associate and friend Mark Haggerty, whom you know from his regular columns and articles here at Cheap-Heat.com, sat down and did our Survivor Series Roundtable. В Enjoy our predictions for tonight’s show:
Team Authority vs. Team Cena
Mark:
В As we get closer to this weekend’s Survivor Series spectacular, it seems as though the stipulations pertaining to the main event are in constant flux. As of now, everyone has something to lose except John Cena, but who knows what might happen between now and
Sunday
. If there are truly only five scheduled bouts on the card, then this match could possibly get up to an hour or even longer. That makes me wonder what will happen during that time to make any “free subscribers” commit to paying ten bucks next month. As far as the combatants, I’m especially interested in seeing how Erick Rowan works alongside his team mates, and the same can be said for both Luke Harper and Rusev on the opposite side. At the end of the match I’m sure there’s going to be some sort of swerve, geared at getting us to resubscribe for December. Who might the Wild Card be? I guess that depends on who wins the match. While anything can happen and I’ll admit that I’m usually wrong, I think The Authority will walk away with the victory and fire all four of Cena’s team mates, minus any that might decide to join The Authority. This will lead to a confrontation down the line where Cena battles someone (or everyone–gauntlet?) to restore his friends and once again dethrone the King of Kings and the Billion Dollar Princess. If Triple H does have a “Plan B”, the obvious turns on Team Cena are most likely Sheamus or RyBack. Not very compelling, I know. But I’m not fantasy booking, I’m telling you what I think will happen. I hope to see Randy Orton make an appearance in some regard, otherwise his face-turn was for nothing. I honestly don’t know what to make of this match but I’m excited to see what happens.
Cassidy:
В Hmmm. This match some what baffles me. I just don’t see how ending this storyline and angle now benefits anyone. They could stretch this feud out for months and months longer, but for some reason WWE never likes to have long running programs. I really hope that Survivor Series isn’t the end point, but merely a kicking off point for this story. But most likely this won’t be the case. Every part of me is telling me that Cena will of course win, but I still think that would be a dumb move. What I would like to see would be a member of Team Cena turning his back on the group and joining The Authority. A swerve on Cena would be very predictable at this point, but at least it wouldn’t kill one of the only storylines you actually have going. But what do I know? My prediction… disappointment. But in the end, Cena will have victory in sight, but is turned on by a team mate, handing victory to The Authority.
В
Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt
Mark:
В I’m looking forward to this as I anticipate it being the first in a three act story told between now and the Royal Rumble. This is the only singles match featuring Superstars rather than Divas, so hopefully this separate platform can help both Dean and Bray shine as bright as their colleagues in the main event. I recently wrote an article regarding where I see this rivalry heading and I’m fairly certain this introductory contest is going to be an evenly-traded brawl, as the majority of other matches on the card are limited by the massive number of participants. But the overall program in which Wyatt and Ambrose are engaged could, and I feel should, be based on one superstar’s inability to defeat the other. I think Bray Wyatt gets his hand raised at the end of this match, and then again at TLC. This will drive an already insane Ambrose absolutely mad, thus unfolding into a much more passionate angle than we’re use to seeing in the 2014 Reality Era.
Cassidy:
В I am looking forward to this match. I have always been a huge fan of Dean Ambrose, especially his work as Jon Moxley before signing with the WWE. I also had really high hopes with Bray Wyatt, but WWE dropped the ball there, badly. Anyway… this match should be spectacular. I know Ambrose loves to shine on the big stage, and Survivor Series has always been one of the WWE’s premier events, so I expect nothing be break neck speed, and ruthless agression out of Ambrose. The difference in styles of the two should compliment each other nicely. Wyatt is one of the most agile big men I have seen since Vader, so watching him and Ambrose go at it could be the match of the night. While I am torn here, part of me wants Ambrose to win, while a HUGE part of me is rooting for Bray Wyatt… but I believe that Bray Wyatt will come out the victor in this match, but with some twist or crazy run in for a finish.
В
AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella
Mark:
В I make no attempt to hide my distaste for AJ Lee; I’ll rant and rave to anyone that will listen about how terrible she is in every possible way. But she’s a better Diva’s Champion than we’re likely to get unless the WWE plans on trading the belt back and forth with Paige. You know what I really thought was going to happen, and I suppose still could? If Brie is Nikki’s “slave” for lack of a better word, could Nikki perhaps force Brie into the match and wrestle in her place? I don’t know why she would do that, because Nikki’s coming into her own as the better Bella, but I’m thinking long term booking here. If Nikki forces her sister to wrestle, and Brie wins, who’s the champion? Nikki by the logic I’m going with, but what a dramatic way to get both sisters involved in the Diva’s title picture? The WWE is going to do it anyway, so why not just do it in style? Other than that far fetched idea, I don’t know who’s going to win, but I have a feeling it could be Nikki.
Cassidy
:
В
Well, a lot can be said for the future of the divas division based on the outcome of this match. With recent rumblings and rumors of AJ Lee being on her way out of the company, the outcome of this match may shed light on what her future is with the company. It would make sense to put Nikki over here, she has become the top heel in the division and has tons of momentum behind her. It isn’t very often that I look forward to a divas match, but this time I am.. I predict a far better match than anyone expected, with Brie Bella eventually getting involve in the match, and helping her twin sister Nikki to victory.
В
Four Corners Tag Team Match
Mark:
В One of my favorite stipulation matches of the Attitude Era, a match that in my mind seemed to happen every other week, was the Four Corners Tag Team Match. I echo most independent sentiments on this match, in that it’s going to be a comedy contest but that’s fine by me if all of the competitors involved are fully capable workers. If the superstars are allowed to tag anyone they choose, I fully expect the Miz and Mizdow to wind up across the ring from one another. Whatever they do, I would like to see the straps stricken from the Rhodes Brothers. Prior to their winning the gold I kind of thought that I was into their act, but I was wrong. I’m not. Any of these four teams has the chance of winning or retaining the WWE Tag Team titles, and I’m honestly rooting for Los Matadores. However I suspect the Miz and Mizdow have a better chance of winning. My prediction is the Miz and Mizdow.
Cassidy:
В In my opinion this match could be the sleeper of the entire card. While I personally want the team of Stardust & Goldust to win this one, I don’t see that happening. I do see this match having tons of high spots and fast paced action however, and expect lots of good comedy spots from Miz and Sandow. If this match is given enough time, and they let all the men involved go out there and do their thing, instead of handcuffing them by limiting their time. If this match can go long enough, then everyone can shine. I predict that in the end The Miz and Sandow walk out of the Survivor Series as WWE Tag Team Champions.
В
Divas Elimination Tag Match
Mark:
Who can even predict this kind of a match? Is there a rule where if Natalya’s team wins, then Natalya is in charge of the Diva’s division, but if Paige’s team wins then Natalya’s team gets fired? I don’t think so. There’s not much, if anything, devoted to developing this match other than putting eight divas in a match together. While I’m always a proponent of adding more matches, I would perhaps rather see an NXT match since this is a free pay-per-view and the WWE wants to promote the Network. I have no idea who’s going to win this match. I’m usually more positive about the Diva’s but I’m not fond of how the WWE has decided to book this FREE event, and I’ve decided to take it out on this match.
Cassidy:
В I’ve always been a fan of the classic Survivor Series matches… when they have some kind of meaning or story that has built up, where it makes sense.. Ya know like they did in the 80’s and early 90’s. But this match just has that filler match feel to it. They could have put a little more work into building the backstory so we could have something invested into this match at least. But no. The veteran divas needed something to stay busy so here you go. My prediction? Paige cheats to win.
PRE-SHOW MATCH
Cassidy:
Because I am so freaking awesome, I am going to go BONUS PREDICTION STYLE on you all…
My prediction… Rosa Mendes will look smokin’ hot, and Fandango will still out perform the shitheel gimmick they stuck him in.

In more ALL ELITE news, they have announced that the show that have been announced already and the ones in the future will be part of a big tournament called Torneo Liga Elite where the luchadores that are all in the top two matches on the first two shows will be part of the tournament. The point system is that you get 3 points for winning a tag match then 5 points for winning singles matches and the 4 luchadores that have the most points will then compete in a tournament and the 4 lowest will compete in a tournament where they will put something up at stake to lose. This will be definitely interesting to watch.
