World Wrestling Professionals in South Africa held a press conference at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, South Africa to announce that "WrestleMonster", the biggest show in the promotion's history will take place on February 28th, 2015 in conjunction with Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling.
Jarrett, who was not at the press conference, sent a video along for the announcement, stating how important the South African market is to the Global Force Wrestling promotion and noted that he would be working the event, as well as other events promoted by the WWP promotion and teased the idea of signing South African wrestlers to Global Force Wrestling.
The promotion announced that 50% of the gate will go towards wrestling development, with the idea of building a wrestling school in Port Elizabeth with "Kwaito Kid" Zama Njokweni heading the training.
Jarrett was a recent guest on Main Event Madness, where he revealed that GFW were in talks with South African promotions, as well as other promotions worldwide. The show is available to listen to at this link .
