'97 in Review w/ Comedian Patrick Bean
Mark Adam Haggerty, Gary Mastriano and "PG" Matt Sloyan are back in the house, ready to raise the roof, and this week they're joined by the very funny standup comedian Patrick Bean. You can follow Patrick on Twitter through this link right here.
Patrick caught the professional wrestling bug in 1997, so the boys at the B+ Players felt it only fitting to spend an hour and forty minutes talking about the year Mark Adam Haggerty once called "The Best Year in Professional Wrestling." The guys kick things off with the Royal Rumble and go right through the DX pay-per-view, paying special attention to the World Wrestling Federation, while still breaking down WCW and ECW.
Patrick talks about how he became a fan, thanks in-part to a collapsed above-ground pool, and remembers the first match he saw ended with a man wearing a dress. Find out what happened when "PG" Matt S told Glen Jacobs: "Hey I really liked you as Fake Diesel,'" and hear the sidesplitting story of the first time Mark's dad saw Goldust. The guys also discuss what they would do if they could freeze time like Zack Morris on "Saved by the Bell," and what would happen if Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman LOOKALIKES took on the REAL Dan Severn.
Next week our guest will be the former 2-time IWF heavyweight champion and the only GRAND SLAM champion in IWF history, Chris Steeler. We've got some very exciting guests in the coming weeks so stay tuned and be sure to follow us through social media.
