Greetings Cheap-Heaters! Welcome to a very special Independence Day Edition of the Over/Under. I'm grilling burgers, dogs, and chicken breasts. There are brew-dogs in the cooler. We got all the chips, salads, and desserts one would expect for this. Oh, and WWE will be providing the fireworks. (BOOM! I nailed that opening!)
Couple things make this "WWE Live" aka house show in Tokyo very special. The NXT Championship will be on the line, and I'm guessing that match will main event. Brock Lesnar will be wrestling… which as we all know is NOT a common occurrence. Especially since, IF he wrestles at Summerslam? He'll have three matches in 6-7 weeks. (Depending on WHAT his contract is now? We might not see him again until Mania… or 2017.) There is also a Chris Jericho vs. Neville match which should be special, as Jericho doesn't wrestle on WWE TV anymore. The undercard really does look like a house show. Still? Some goodness to be found in those matches. Lets go!
The Lucha Dragons vs. The New Day
OVERVIEW!
These two at least have some history. The last few shows they have been involved in 8 man tag matches. With the New Day + Bo facing off against the Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons. This should be a fun fast paced opener. Be interesting to see how much the Japanese crowd plays into "New… Day-Sucks", if at all.

OVERVIEW!
OVERVIEW? Of WHAT?! No parties involved in this match are currently feuding, or involved with one another… So… Here's what happened. On the flight to Japan Kane stole Ziggler's pretzels while Dolph was in the can… lets say with Lana (#MileHighClub) – Cena caught the Big Red Thief and got all up in his grill. King Barrett made the royal decree that if a passenger's in flight snackage were left unattended for longer than five minutes, then those snacks were then free to be claimed by anyone in the realm. Cena was all "NUH UH!". Kane said "I'm THE DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, and Steph and Hunter said I can have as many in flight snacks as I want, and I want Dolph's Pretzels!!" At this point Dolph returned from the bathroom with rather large grin on his face. All eyes on him and the Ravishing Russian caused Lana to blush and run back to her seat. Dolph saw his pretzels in the clutches of Kane, and super kicked Kane… Barrett then hit Ziggler with a Bull Hammer, and before Cena could AA Kane, an Air Marshall pulled a gun on the foursome and told them to settle it in the ring! Boom. We got a match!

OVERVIEW!
Much like the previous match? There is no TELEVISED storyline surrounding this match. But to assume there is not a reason Jericho and Neville are fighting? Is so wrong. Months ago Neville appeared on Jericho's podcast. Things went swimmingly. They had a great interview UNTIL, they talked about upper body accessories for Wrestling Entrances. Jericho was firmly in "Team Light Bright Leather Jacket", and Neville was all about "Capes". It got HEATED. The podcast cut off after Jericho shoved Neville when Neville claimed "Who ruins a perfectly good jacket with dumbass LEDs?"
So now, months later the war to settle the score. Cape vs. Light Bright Jacket. There is also an undercurrent of "Most nicknamed wrestler" going on here. Y2J. Man that Gravity forgot. Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah. The New Sensation. The Highlight Reel. The Altitude Generation… etcetera… etcetera… etcetera… Jericho has a slight edge in the nickname department, but Nevill has only been in the WWE, on the main roster, for a few months!

At the last Takeover Balor channeled his inner Demon and defeated Tyler Breeze to be the #1 contender to the NXT Championship. Since his debut, Kevin Owens has been a beast. He's run roughshod over NXT. He's been insanely impressive on the main roster. This will be the duo's second matchup for the NXT Championship.
Finn Balor returns to Japan, where he made his name and got the interest of the WWE. As a founding member of the Bullet Club, he was wildly successful with New Japan Pro Wrestling. For a much better background on Balor check out the NXT special Finn Balor: "The Demon Revealed" This will be the first time that Balor is "Painted Up" challenging for the NXT Championship.
(Writer's Note: No idea if this main events… and I can't imagine it does, but its the match that has the most story behind it. BTW, looking for that image above I saw a story speculating that the Cena tag match would close the show. HAHAHAHAHAHA… that'd be hilarious. I feel like it'll be Lesnar.)
