Top 10 WWE Superstars Who Could Make An Impact in MMA

Top 10 WWE Superstars Who Could Make An Impact in MMA

With CM Punk, the Indy Darling turned WWEs Best in the World going MMA, this is a Primetime to see who else could rock the cage!

So my Christmas Gift to Cheap-Heat.com is a list of Sports Entertainers who could make an impact in MMA if they made the transition.

-Honorable Mention: Daniel Bryan

In his prime Daniel would have brought his kicks and 1000 submissions to the table.

Not saying this underdog would be any less an underdog, but with his heart and honed fighting skills, I think D-Bry would have given a monster fight before his untimely neck injuries.В  Here is hoping his time in WWE isn’t over yet, but likely any thoughts he might of had towards MMA should be.

В

#10: Cesaro

The Swiss Superman is an unbelievable strength.В  His skills as a technician are second to none.В Fighters would find themselves trying to ground Cesaro, only to be lifted and thrown with sickening ease.

Then he would come at them with boots an European uppercuts that would rattle their brain like a crash test dummy in a rolling wreck.В He knows and executes moves most people have never seen, never mind trying to counter.
Lastly the Swiss born super athlete is double tough.В  Leaving me to think beating up Kal-El himself would likely be easier than beating Cesaro in a real brawl.

В

#9: Seth Rollins

The Future of WWE has a long walk in front of him, and high expectations.В  Admittedly though, the kid has got skills.В A master in the air, a technician on the ground, a devastating striker with surprising power, and intellect.

I have a feeling Mr. Money in the bank would not only find away to win, but would find innovating and exciting ways to do so. Even in the very different world of MMA, I believe gold would find its way to The Architect Seth Rollins.

В

#8: Randy Orton

The very definition of sports entertainment as JBL would preach. Fast, technical, unbelievable accurate, and best of all ruthless.В  I could see Randy holding his own in the MMA world.

Mostly however, I so want to see the look on everyone’s face if he hit an RKO out of nowhere in that cage!

В

#7: John Cena

I admit it, after years of criticizing Cena, he has earned my respect. Let us not say I am a Cena fan, but his ability to adapt, and dare I say evolved into a living legend.

I mean when has Hulk, Austin or even Rock hit a standing Frankenstiener, or double stacked opponents, never mind double stacking Big Show with anyone.

I wouldn’t expect Cena to fight with style, but he would fight with heart.В  Yes I also expect Cena to win!

В

#6: Adrian Neville

They say his new WWE gimmick may be the WWE Mighty Mouse, small with uncanny strength.В Fitting, and hopefully no cape, but regardless this guy is a superior athlete.В  In fact I don’t believe Neville is human, he has to be an X-Man or Metahuman.

His strength, speed, agility, endurance, and my God the flawless accuracy of his execution.

It’d be a stellar fight with this pint sized superhero involved!

В

#5: Triple H

Another guy I wouldn’t expect to be undefeated.В  Not even a guy who would fight often.В  I see the cerebral assassin as exactly what he is, a ring general who knows how to fight.В Not a martial artist but in his illustrious career he proved to be able to accomplish anything in the ring he desires.

Want to go blow for blow, he is one of the best.В  Time for submissions and counters, The Game has you covered.В  Or how bout power and technique, the game has proven he is one of the best.

Trick is though, the best fighters are the smartest and that is where Triple H gains the advantage in every fight!

В

#4: Ryback

Nope, he isn’tВ pretty or graceful.В  In fact part of why his push got pulled in WWE is the number of big names he hurt.В  And that is why the Big Guy is on my list.

Ten years from now they will be on WWE network talking about Ryback like he was this generations Vader.В  Big, mean, reckless, and nearly unstoppable.

Sure Goldberg could come back and face Ryback, but this guy is a legit powerhouse and would likely injure the retired phenom.В Ryback looks like someone who hurts people, and he does.

No you wont see him kicking with grace or rolling into a heel hook.В  You’d just see a human wrecking ball, and whats left of the people who pretended they could be a wall standing in his path of relentless destruction!

#3: Kevin Owens

New to nXt but with 14 years clawing his way through fight after fight to get to his goal from Kevin Steen to the now Kevin Owens.
This guy is super fast and agile for a man his size, and nothing you can throw at him including legit injuries will stop him from doing what he does best. Fight Owen Fight!

В

#2: Hideo Itami

Ok so Punk is going MMA, but I present to you the creator of GTS.В  This international megastar was hardened in Japan with Strong Style, everything in strong style is stiffer, harder, faster than standard Sports Entertainment.

Kenta is wrestlings very own Bruce Lee.В  Kicks would rain upon his foe like bullets from a Gatling gun, his intensity and presence alone would bring money to the fight.В  And lets face facts, wrestling, mma, boxing… Every fight is about money!В  The former Kenta now nXts Hideo Itami is most comfortable in a big fight setting and his performance is always memorable!

В

#1: The Big Show

Now many will criticize my top pick, but remember this is my list and you can name your own number one if it means that much to ya.В  Sure in WWE you can call him the Big Slow, or make fun of how many times he cried on Raw.В  Regardless of what critics say: 7′ tall and weighing between 400 to 500 pounds is indisputable.

In WWE Vince McMahon tells the big man who to beat and who to push and make look good.

In MMA no one could tell this real life giant what to do.

Most human beings would be fodder to the wrath of this monster of a man.В Many strikes would be absorbed by his mass, no one could slam or throw him without help, and getting a lock on any limb is a trick even if he lets you.

All I am saying is that a giant is a spectacle in any fight, and if I put Andre the Giant here most of you wouldn’t argue.В Well show may not be twice the man but he is twice the athlete Andre was, and I think even one Paul Wight MMA fight would be money.
