In an update on an earlier report found here at cheap-heat.com, Grammy-nominated rapper Wale is organizing a wrestling event in 2015. Wale noted on Twitter that the event will take place at a venue in New York City writing, "Wrestling event in NYC soon. Already booked so many suprises . Phone been ringin off the hook".
It has also been reported that Paul Heyman has been working closely with Wale on the idea, but is not directly involved. Instead Heyman is advising Wale on the ins and the outs of promoting, which clubs and arenas to run and wrestlers that he recommends. It should be noted that Heyman is not partnering with Wale on the event. Heyman is said to simply be “helping a close friend on how to run the event.”
